Preparing for the World Stage: New Duralock Barrier System Installed at Seat Unique Stadium
The Duralock Group is proud to announce the successful installation of a new pedestrian barrier system at the Seat Unique Stadium, home of Gloucestershire Cricket, as the venue continues its preparations to welcome major domestic and international cricket events.
The project forms part of a wider programme of investment and redevelopment at the stadium, helping to enhance operational flexibility, improve spectator management and support the venue's ongoing commitment to delivering a first-class experience for players, officials and visitors alike.
As one of the selected host venues for the upcoming ICC Women's T20 World Cup, the Seat Unique Stadium is set to welcome some of the world's leading players and international teams to Bristol, further reinforcing its reputation as one of the UK's premier cricket venues.
The newly installed Duralock pedestrian barrier system replaces an ageing freestanding arrangement with a modern, versatile solution designed specifically for busy sporting environments. Installed into discreet sunken sockets, the system allows stadium operators to quickly adapt layouts to suit a variety of matchday, event and operational requirements while maintaining the highest standards of safety and presentation.
Manufactured in the UK from high-quality PVCu, the barriers offer a durable, low-maintenance solution capable of withstanding the demands of a multi-use venue while complementing the extensive redevelopment work recently undertaken across the ground.
