Yasmin has been part of Duralock for nine years, joining the company during a period of change and playing a key role in its development into a trusted international supplier of sports and equestrian safety systems. Over that time, she has worked across commercial operations, client services and strategic development, becoming a respected leader within the organisation and a familiar face to many of our clients and partners. Her appointment reflects a strong belief in developing leadership from within and recognising those who truly understand the values, people and standards that define Duralock. Yasmin has been instrumental in strengthening internal processes, supporting long-term client relationships and helping to guide the business through its next phase of growth. As UK Managing Director, Yasmin will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the UK business, overseeing commercial performance, operational delivery and team development. She will work closely with the wider Group leadership team to ensure Duralock continues to deliver safe, reliable and high-quality solutions across both the sports and equestrian sectors. ![](https://www.duralock.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Newbury_Coral_Gold_Cup_Saturday_42-1.jpg?width=5901&height=3934&name=Newbury_Coral_Gold_Cup_Saturday_42-1.jpg) Commenting on the appointment, **Jonathon McGovern, CEO of the Duralock Group**, said: *“Yasmin’s journey at Duralock has been exceptional. Duralock has been a huge part of my professional journey, and I’m excited to lead the UK business alongside such a committed and experienced team. We have a clear focus on quality, safety and service, and I’m looking forward to building on that as we move into the next chapter."* The appointment comes at a pivotal time for the Duralock Group, as the business continues to strengthen its group structure, expand internationally and invest in the people and systems needed to support long-term, sustainable growth. ## Share: - [Share on Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=https://www.duralock.com/blog/duralock-group-appoints-yasmin-oconnell-as-uk-managing-director) - [Share on Twitter](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?url=https://www.duralock.com/blog/duralock-group-appoints-yasmin-oconnell-as-uk-managing-director) - [Share on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/sharing/share-offsite/?url=https://www.duralock.com/blog/duralock-group-appoints-yasmin-oconnell-as-uk-managing-director) ## Contact Yasmin Click here to contact Yasmin directly.
