This project showcases how Duralock’s fencing solutions can significantly enhance both the safety and appearance of a horse racing training yard. **Project Overview** The client chose Duralock due to our reputation as the most widely used fencing product by UK racecourses and our commitment to sustainability. Our fencing is crafted from eco-friendly materials, aligning with the client’s goal of improving their facility in a responsible and sustainable manner. In early June, our UK Sales Manager, James Hill, visited the facility to assess the existing fencing. His detailed evaluation revealed that the old barriers needed replacement, and he measured the required quantity of rail accordingly. The goal was to improve safety and accessibility while modernising the track’s appearance. As part of our commitment to excellence, we organised a pre-installation site visit, allowing our team to carefully assess the training yard’s specific needs and measure the existing setup. This visit ensured that the new fencing would be a perfect fit, both in terms of functionality and aesthetics. The client chose Duralock for this project due to our comprehensive installation service, which ensured a swift and efficient upgrade with minimal disruption to the training yard’s operations. With a efficient 3-day installation time, the track remained largely accessible, allowing the yard to maintain its training schedule. Additionally, we managed the disposal of the old materials, overseeing the entire process to minimise disruption to the training yard’s operations. This approach guarantees a smooth transition from the old barriers to the newly installed, state-of-the-art Duralock fencing. **Why Duralock is the Perfect Fit for Training Facilities** 1. **Performance-Driven Design**: Duralock’s fencing is built to withstand the demands of horse racing. The robust construction ensures it effectively handles the energy of the racecourse, offering a secure barrier for horses and spectators. 2. **Stunning Aesthetics:** The new fencing enhances the facility’s appearance with its clean lines and white finish, blending seamlessly with the surroundings and giving the track a polished look. 3. **Unmatched Safety:** Designed with smooth, rounded edges and a flexible structure, Duralock’s fencing minimises injury risks, ensuring a safer environment for horses, jockeys, and trainers. 4. **Low Maintenance, High Durability:** Made from advanced PVC-u materials, Duralock fencing is resistant to weathering and impact. It maintains its appearance and integrity over time, requiring minimal maintenance—ideal for busy racing facilities. **The Transformation** The installation of new fencing involved replacing the outdated barriers with Duralock’s advanced race rail. Chosen for its durability and sleek design, the new fencing provides a safer environment for horses and trainers. The upgrade has also given the facility a refreshed and polished look, seamlessly blending with its surroundings. **Results** The owners have given positive feedback on the transformation, acknowledging that the new fencing not only enhances safety but also elevates the overall aesthetics of the track. This project is a prime example of how a well-planned fencing upgrade can make a significant impact.
